Buttonwood Art Space is the place to see regional and upcoming artists themed exhibits all year and often serve as a fundraiser for area non-profit groups.

Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors remains dedicated to the development and promotion of this vibrant, historic and uniquely American Art form: Jazz.

Kansas City Jazz Orchestra strives to preserve the rich heritage of jazz by nurturing its growth and encouraging the appreciation of America’s classical music as viable art form through concert performance and education.

Jazz Friends is the community support group for the UMKC Conservatory Jazz Studies Program. The annual scholarship fundraiser for jazz friends is Jazz & BBQ – held in October each year.

Kansas City Jazz Alliance – The Kansas City Jazz Alliance preserves and advances the art form of jazz in Kansas City by inspiring and developing the next generation of jazz artists, educators, and supporters through educational programs and concert performances.

The mission of the Arts KC Regional Arts Council is to unleash the power of the arts. The council supports, promotes and advocates in order to bring together people, resources and ideas.

Through the Jazz Near You program, All About Jazz delivers on their mission of keeping jazz fans informed, alerting them to local shows and improving audiences attendance in more than 300 cities worldwide, including Kansas City. 

Kansas City Jazz ALIVE serves as a catalyst in the jazz community, building awareness of the community’s needs, serving as a listening body, providing a platform for the integration of ideas, functioning as a voice and providing exposure to resources.
