UMKC Women’s Council. An organization of campus and community members who actively support the education of women graduate students by providing financial assistance and expanded opportunities.

The mission of UMKC Jazz Friends is to help build a nationally recognized jazz studies program and UMKC. Jazz friends serves as a community support group and membership organization for the jazz studies program, and its annual even, Jazz & BBQ, raises money to support the program.
